During the pandemic in 2021 I had a wonderful trip around the world. In addition to the portraits I made during the trip I collected some statements and experiences from the subjects of my images. The pandemic had such a profound impact on everyone for so long, my goal was to keep feelings, thoughts and experience at the surface and record them in image and word. Three years later I did a second, but smaller trip around the world.

In 2024 I decided to create a book and to publish 58 portraits of 57 people and one cat I made during these two trips.

The book is meant as a contemporary testimony of one visual artist, that depicts a unique and challenging time for all of humankind through the world lens of music and art.
